The Machine: Air Burners S223 FireBox

A self-contained air curtain burner, shipped fully assembled and sitting on skids. A powered air curtain over the burn box helps wood waste burn hotter and cleaner. Per the manufacturer, the FireBox reduces waste to about two percent of its original weight, leaving ash and BioChar that can be turned back into the soil.

How It Works

  1. Push-button start. The diesel engine starts from the control panel. No pull cords, no fuss.
  2. Air curtain. The engine drives a blower that pushes a high-speed curtain of air across the top of the burn box.
  3. Clean, hot burn. The air curtain traps smoke and particles in the box so they burn up, keeping smoke down while brush and wood waste burn hot.
  4. Ash and BioChar. What's left comes out through the two rear doors.
